My Pregnancy Begins...

And now, these are all my scans.. it marks a milestone in my life.. and the journey begins..

This is the first scan done after the pregnancy kit. It shows the foetus is 5 weeks old. Done on 11/04/2009. 12.45pm @ Tan and Yik clinic(mel's place).

First scan with Dr Fong. Saw pregnancy sac, heartbeat seen. 17/04/2009 @10am.

Gestation: 6 weeks. Foetus is 3.90mm

Gestation: 7weeks 6 days. Heartbeat: 176bpm

Date: 30/04/2009. 12pm. Foetus is 1.42cm.

Gestation: 10weeks. Date: 12/05/2009. 10.09am.

Foetus is 30.90mm

Gestation: 12weeks 1day. 26/05/2009. 12.41pm.

Foetus is 5.50cm.

Gestation:16weeks. Date:23/06/2009. 11.10am. Dr Fong says its a boy!!

The above 3 scans are Detailed Scans(DS). Lil K show us his bird on the first pic! He eagerly wanna let us know that he's a boy!

Gestation: 20weeks. Date: 28/07/2009.

3D scan. Date: 22/09/2009. 1230pm. Gestation: 28weeks.

By right for Dr Fong, the last scan with pics given was 28weeks.
But Mel insist on another 3D scan on 32weeks.

Gestation: 32weeks. 02/11/2009. 1108am.

Can see his look clearly.

Why name him Keith? Its Mel who chose it. We came to an agreement. First baby, name must be one syllabus and starts with K(cuz im J, Mel is M. in between is K and L). So #2 will have 2 syllabus and starts with L.

Anyway, I did a search and found Keith was originally Scottish and probably came from a form of 'coillte' or 'ceiteach'meaning 'woods'. It might also have been influence by Welsh 'coedwig'(forest), and even by Old English 'cuth'(knowledgeable). Coincidently, Mel needs the element wood. haha!

Even more coincidently, Phoebe found out, that my Jeanie, Mel's Melvin and Keith; the second alphabet is E and all three names has an I in it. Which means for #2, the choices of names are very limited. Cuz must fulfil all the requirements; starts with L, second alpha must be E, includes an I and 2 syllabus. haha! Crazy mum!
